The mission of the Brownville Community Endowment Fund is to facilitate the charitable interests of donors that enhance the historical, cultural, environmental, educational, and recreational objectives of the Brownville community.

History of the Fund


The Brownville Community Endowment Fund was established in 2003 as an affiliate of the Omaha Community Foundation.  This relationship allows Brownville to avoid the administrative burdens of setting up its own foundation while receiving the many benefits that accompany a community foundation.

The fund is used to assist programs that support historical, cultural, environmental, educational, and recreational goals.  The Brownville community's non-profits can also use the fund as a source of long-term financial assistance.
