Endowment funds are funds permanently established for the benefit of a specific organization or cause.  Annually, a percentage of the fund's assets are available for use by the organization or cause.  Because these funds are established with the intent to stand the test of time, they are generally a good source of stable revenue.  As such, they may help buffer organizations during difficult economic times.

The Omaha Community Foundation partners with non-profits to incubate and manage endowment funds for the benefit of non-profit organizations.  For more information about how your organization can establish an endowment partnership with OCF, contact Sara Boyd at 402.342.3458 or sara@omahacf.org.
